Antwerp: Hobby Farming with Beltz Barnyard

October 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

  • « Gobles: Paint a Scarecrow
  • Bloomingdale: Family Pumpkin Carving »

Dori Beltz grew up on a fruit farm and lived in Kalamazoo before returning to her country roots and creating Beltz Barnyard and Camp Whimsy in Texas Corners. During her visit to the library, Dori will discuss hobby farming in a small town and will bring some of her animals along, too! Fun for the whole family. Free and open to the public. For more information, please call 269-668-2534.

The event complements the Smithsonian Institution’s traveling exhibit, Crossroads: Change in Rural America, that is open to the public at VBDL Webster Memorial, Decatur, October 18 – December 5. Crossroads is made possible with support from Michigan Humanities.
