Decatur: Crossroads – Change in Rural America

VBDL Webster Memorial, Decatur, is honored to be one of six sites in Michigan chosen to host the Smithsonian Exhibit, Crossroads: Change in Rural America. Six kiosks with sliding or flip-up panels, and one digitally interactive, explore how small towns have changed over the past century. The exhibit prompts us to consider how we can reshape and re-envision our communities for the future. Panels include: Education, Access to services, Commerce, Agriculture, Infrastructure, and Demographic Change.
The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday – Thursday: 9:00am to 8:00pm, Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday: 9:00am to 3:00pm, through December 5.
Crossroads: Change in Rural America is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Michigan Humanities.
