Decatur: Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Crossroads

The public is cordially invited to attend the official opening ceremony for the Smithsonian Institution’s traveling exhibit Crossroads: Change in Rural America. The exhibit is open to the public during regular business hours through December 5. The opening ceremony includes:
10:00am – Ribbon Cutting
10:30am – The Farmer is the Man presented by singer/songwriter and roots musician Chris Vallillo
11:00am – 1:00pm: Kids’ Ag Day Activities from Van Buren County Farm Bureau (and a special appearance by Pete the Cat!)
Crossroads exhibit open until 3:00pm
Refreshments served by the Friends of the Van Buren District Library.
Crossroads: Changes in Rural America has been made possible in Decatur, by Michigan Humanities.
