Every one can participate in the Summer Reading Program, from babies to retirees. Read to earn prizes, including a grand prize at the end of the summer.

 

Be sure to come to your local VBDL branch on Saturday, June 7, to kick off the summer with fun activities and to pick up your reading log so you can start reading to earn prizes! Check out the online calendar for a full summer of events at the library! Find magic shows, animal visits, arts and crafts, cooking programs, book clubs, and so much more at VBDL this summer! 

Do you like crafts? Then grab a take-and-make kit this summer! We have take-and-make kits available for kids ages 0-4, 5-10, and 11-15, so you can take a kit and make it at home, while camping, or with friends. Keep an eye out on our social media pages for when they drop! Kits are available as supplies last.

Summer Reading begins June 7 and runs through August 2, so you have 8 weeks of reading and fun at the library this summer!
