I’m so tired of having to avoid movie trailers in fear of them spoiling the film for me. *cough cough Terminator: Genisys* but thankfully this trailer doesn’t spoil a thing.
I’m really impressed with what Abrams is doing with the new Dark Jedi Kylo Ren. Kylo looks and sounds menacing, you can just feel the dark side pouring out of him. Hopefully his character sticks around for episodes VIII and IX.
We’ve yet to see Luke Skywalker in any of the official trailers or comic con footage. JJ abrams must be saving Luke’s reveal for the film’s December 18 release, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Though we don’t see Luke we do finally get a brief glimpse of Carrie Fisher’s Leia apparently grieving on Han’s shoulder. Maybe she’s crying over the loss of a main character? Maybe those are tears of joy from reuniting with Han? Who knows, we’ll just have to wait to find out.
Overall this trailer looks amazing! JJ Abrams went the smart route with this film by combing practical effects with CGI instead of the over reliance of CGI in the prequel trilogy. I can’t wait for this film to be released and I doubt any other Star Wars fan can either. Until the December 18 release here are some great Star Wars materials to keep you occupied.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
