VBDL TURNS READING INTO GIVING
DECATUR, MICHIGAN – – – – Children in Van Buren County who have limited or no access to a public or school library are eligible for a free book courtesy of Van Buren District Library’s Friends groups, patrons and staff.
Participants in the District’s November “Read to Give” Challenge logged 790 books during the month, far-surpassing the original goal of 500. Once the goal was reached, VBDL’s Friends groups purchased a variety of books to be distributed through United Christian Services.
Books are available at the USC offices, Linda’s Closet and The Porch. USC is located at Annex Suite 1, 600 E. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. The USC phone number is 269.415.0767.
