VBDL HOSTS RED CROSS BABYSITTING TRAINING COURSE

DECATUR, MICHIGAN – – – -Students interested in obtaining babysitting certification are invited to register for one of two American Red Cross training classes at Van Buren District Library.

The six-hour course is offered at the Antwerp Sunshine Branch, Mattawan, Saturday, May 19, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm; and at Webster Memorial Library, Decatur, Saturday, June 23,
9:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Students between 11 and 15 years old are provided the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to children and infants. The training helps participants develop leadership and business skills, and provides instruction in first aid and basic child-care.

The fee for the class is $85.00 and does include lunch. Register online at redcross.org/take-a-class.
