The Van Buren District Library has several book clubs for all ages and interests. Find a book club near you and be a part of the fun!

Please note: Book clubs meet regularly, but will not meet during library closings or holidays. Check with your local VBDL branch for more information or to find out the book of the month!

Cookbook Club

Every third Monday of the month at 5:30pm

The cooking club for adults! Checkout the cookbook of the month and prepare a dish to share during the meeting. Discuss the food, the book, and enjoy a meal with friends.

Book Club

Every third Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm

Join us for a wonderful conversation about the book of the month! The Antwerp Book Club alternates each month with fiction and non-fiction, so there’s something for everyone.

ABC Club (Antwerp Baking for Children)

Every fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm

Kids can cook some amazing treats! Kids ages 8-12 can choose a recipe out of the monthly cookbook, prepare a dish at home, and bring to the library for everyone to try. Learn new skills and make new friends at the ABC Club!

First Saturday of the month at 11am

Where book clubs and crafting circles combine! Read the book of the month and bring your craft during the discussion. Don’t craft? You can still come and join in the reading discussion!

Show & Tell Book Club

Every fourth Thursday of the month at 3:30pm

All ages, from children to retirees, are invited to select a book based on the monthly theme. Read your book and tell us all about it!

Second Monday of the month at 5:30pm

Join us for a show and tell of the projects made with the month’s theme! You can choose a crafting/non-fiction book that follows the theme and share what you created during the meeting. If you were not able to make something, you are still welcome to join us for a discussion and see what others have made! The DIY Book Club is open to everyone ages 10 and up.
