VBDL Joins Michigan Libraries for Life

Stop by any VBDL branch with a valid driver’s license or state ID,
and indicate a willingness to help save lives.
VBDL’s friendly librarians can assist you in joining the Michigan Organ Donor Registry.

More than 3,600 Michigan residents are currently on the waiting list for organ donations.
In 2015, 285 organ donors resulted in more than 800 life-saving transplants in the state.
However, the number on the waiting list continues to grow. . .
